These are some short reviews of the animes that I have bothered to continue watching recently/have completed and enjoyed to some large degree.

K-On! - Made of awesome, win and all things good. I adore slice of life animes and this has been one of the best I've seen, up there with Azumanga and Lucky Star imo. This has filled in a bit of a gap, because I haven't seen any music based animes before this, and I found it really interesting, but what I found even more so was the relationships between the five girls and how they had fun together. Those of you who haven't seen it (and I'm sure that's very few), go and download it asap, if not sooner and enjoy.

Hidamari Sketch x365 - Another loveable anime which shone through with its warmth and laid backness. I really liked the original series, and I'm glad to see they didn't change the formula round too much. Another on the must see list.

Minami-ke Okaeri - Not as good as the first two shows mentioned, but still rather enjoyable. Another continuation from previous series, and it serves its purpose well.

Eden of the East - One of the best action/adventure animes I've seen. Keeps the fine balance of a good storyline, interesting characters and decent action sequences. Can't wait for the movies to either be subbed or come out on dvd over here.

Haruhi Suzumiya - I've been recently watching the Endless Eight episodes, and I think it's a cool idea that they've done what they did (no spoilers coming from me, but it's pretty obvious what's happened if you've watched at least two out of the four recent episodes). Not many other shows could have pulled the idea off as well as this one, but for the sake of my own sanity, I hope it does not keep on going for too much longer, because I think after five episodes on the same area, the majority of people will want a resolve.

Hatsukoi Limited - Something I would not have originally gone for, but in the end, I quite liked it. I'm not an overly big fan of romance, but this one focused on the comedy just enough to be able to keep my attention.
